About NHS
Founded in 1921, the National Honor Society (NHS) has endeavored to cultivate the youth of today so that they might become the leaders of tomorrow. In order to accomplish its goal, the NHS focuses primarily on qualities pertaining to service, leadership, and character. In order to be invited to join this prestigious society, candidates must excel in all of these areas. In addition, the members of the NHS are expected to give their full and honest commitment to the society and to uphold the values of the society in all of their endeavors, regardless of the circumstances. Due to its recent creation, the current members of the ECHS NHS are working tirelessly in an effort to meet the high standards that have been set by the National Honor Society. Now is a critical moment in the history of the ECHS NHS. It is our duty as leaders of this community to pave the way for future ECHS NHS members. Those few candidates that are chosen to be inducted into the ECHS NHS will be remembered as the hardworking and long-laboring founders of a brighter future.
